Did you buy the boat:
Used

How many hours have you put on the boat?: 1,100

Have you used the boat in: Salt Water

Which type of body of water have you primarily used your boat in?: Bays, Coastal Ocean, Offshore

For which purpose did you primarily buy the boat?: Fishing, Day Cruising, Entertaining, Overnight Cruising

How would you assess the boat’s performance given its intended use?:
Good. Very dependable boat with no major problems.

How would you characterize the engine(s) and drive units?: Ignoring the fact that I'd prefer diesels (who wouldn't) the twin petrols have performed well. Very economical when cruising, and also quite nimble when at WOT - 25 knts.

Was the helm comfortable and did it provide you with good visibility?: Boat has upper and lower helms. Both work well with very good visibility.

Was the cockpit large enough and seating ample for your activities?: Yes. Plenty of room for whatever is required and a very good boat to entertain on.

Were the accommodations suitable for your use of the boat?: Yes. My girlfriend and I often go away for weekenders - usually take the dog and sometimes also friends or family. Large master bedroom and two quite generous single bunks.

How would you characterize access to your engine and equipment in your engine room?: Pretty good although access is a little tight at the rear of engines.

What design features on deck did you appreciate most?: Wide walking space around outsides of boat. Excellent entertaining space on rear deck and within cabin area.

What design features below deck do you most appreciate?: Good use of space. Warm and solid feel to boat.

How does the boat handle?: Handles very well. Stable even in the bays worst weather. Easily gets up on the plane and quite agile.

Are there any features or design aspects of the boat that you feel need changing?: Not really. Over time I have upgraded interior, tv/stereo system, teaked the rear deck and swim platform, replaced interior lights with LEDS and dimmers etc. Replaced upper cover and clears.

What options do you wish you had specified to be installed which you didn’t have?: Installed Raymarine C-70 GPS and Depth Sounder package together with Auto-Pilot. Also installed Fuel-Flow computer and Aqualuma underwater blue lights.

What other comments do you think should be made about the boat?:
All in all she's been a very good boat with a minimum of problems. Many great times out on the water and few issues. Very dependable and sturdy.

What was the name of the dealer who sold you the boat?: St Kilda Boat Sales

Where you happy with your dealer's service?: Not really. I bought the boat "as seen" on inspection but when I went to take delivery I discovered that the owner had removed a number of fittings (clocks, deck storage/seat unit, etc) and had also left holes and marks where the removed items had been.

I had to argue with them to have the items replaced and the damage fixed (re-cover vinyl on wall etc). Was going to cancel the deal but they finally agreed to repair damage and "throw in a few lifejackets"...

Would you do business with the dealer again?: No.
