During Melbourne's cruise ship season (from November to April) there are literally 100's of opportunities to escort (in or out) some of the world's most amazing and beautiful cruiseliners. These behemoths (look it up) of the oceans are also a great opportunity to have a good gawk at the world's ultimate passenger liners.
There's some really good karma you tend to feel shepherding visiting cruiseliners (and the people on them) in or out of our wonderful city. They'll never forget what they're seeing, and you'll forever be the stars of countless pictures and videos from people around the world. With the ever growing media interest in cruiseliners visiting Melbourne, you might even get to see yourself on the 6pm news! More than anything, cruiseliners are another excuse to get out onto the water for yet another great boating experience.
St Kilda Marina Club will be organising "Armada Runs" to many of these cruiseliner's vectors into and out of Melbourne. If you'd like to join the party, 'welcome by water' visitors to our awesome city and be kept informed of any special plans we have click here.
Here's who's coming and when you can expect to see them:
