"I went down and looked at the boat, and I liked what I saw. It was exactly the kind of boat I wanted so I made an offer. The offer was accepted.

"But when I went down a day later to finalise the deal, I discovered that they had stripped the boat of many items that had been there when I first viewed the boat.

"When I questioned the missing items, Darren said "The boat is being sold as is"...

"When I insisted that the boat was NOT "as is" (ie as it was at inspection) and that the deal was off if he didn't replace all items that had been stripped off the boat, he finally agreed to replace all items prior to 'delivery'.

"They did replace the items, and the boat was delivered as it should have been in the first place, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth.

"I'd never do business with them again."
