In the month since SKMC's website went live we have had over 150 respondants to our survey. Additonally, over 25 marina residents have emailed or telephoned SKMC with comments, their thoughts on all things marina related and suggestions for future surveys, etc. Latest results for our inaugural survey are as follows:

When you look at the results a clear pattern does emerge. Most residents are generally happy with their marina experience though there are issues that do concern the majority of residents. By far the greatest issue worrying members is Security, followed by Entrance Depth problems. Encouragingly, 90% of survey respondents supported the establishment of SKMC and its vision - though we are unable to understand why 2 respondents voted with a 'no'.
90% of members also expressed support for more networking and socialising between marina members. Over 95% of respondents deemed previous Marina Management communications either poor or nonexistent, however following last Friday's get together, and as mentioned in last Friday's News, SKMC and Marina Management have agreed to work closely together to ensure that any future relevant marina info from Management is quickly transmitted to members via SKMC's Marina Notifications Page and email systems.
Based upon current survey results, and factoring in all the opinions SKMC has received via telephone calls, emails and direct to SKMC members from other members, there is an upbeat and optimistic outlook of our marina's future by the vast majority of members. The prevailing attitude of most members is pretty well summed up by the comment of SKMC member Tony. "The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!"
